1988 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe
Vintage Car Buyers is pleased to offer this 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe, a left-hand-drive, Rest-of-World example of Porsche’s legendary 930 Turbo.
Previously registered in Japan, this 930 was acquired by the current seller in 2026 and is offered with Japanese registration documents, a CarVX vehicle history report, and a Japanese export certificate issued in the name of the seller’s company.
Power comes from Porsche’s iconic turbocharged 3.3-liter air-cooled flat-six, paired with the correct four-speed manual transaxle. Rest-of-World versions of the 1988 930 Turbo were rated at approximately 300 PS, giving these cars the performance and unmistakable turbocharged character that helped establish the 930 as one of the most recognizable performance cars of the 1980s.
This example has been refinished in green and features a number of cosmetic and performance modifications. Exterior changes include revised lower bodywork, an RS 3.8-branded fixed rear spoiler, aerodynamic-style side mirrors, and 18-inch multi-piece wheels. Additional modifications include a MOMO steering wheel, aftermarket shifter, and aftermarket exhaust system.
The cabin is trimmed in black leather and features heated, power-adjustable front sport seats. Factory-style comfort equipment includes air conditioning and a power sunroof.
Stopping power is provided by four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes, complementing the 930 Turbo’s wide-body chassis and rear-engine layout.
