MERCEDES-BENZ SLR 722 S

In 1955, Stirling Moss added a glorious chapter to the Silver Arrows legend with his iconic victory in the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR, famously known as the “722,” in the Mille Miglia—a 1,000-mile race from Brescia to Rome and back. Moss set an unmatched record, completing the distance in an astonishing 10 hours, 7 minutes, and 48 seconds. Fast-forward to the modern era, and the SLR Roadster 722 S pays tribute to this historic triumph.

Unlike the standard SLR, the 722 version offers an impressive 650 hp and 605 lb-ft (820 Nm) of torque from the same 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine. As a roadster variant, it seamlessly integrates the folding roof mechanism of the regular SLR. Notable aerodynamic improvements include a larger carbon fiber front splitter, a revised carbon fiber rear diffuser, wheel spoilers, and a modified rear airbrake deployment position.
