We present a Mercedes-Benz 300 S Roadster (W188) – The Mercedes-Benz 300 S Roadster was the most luxurious and exclusive automobile “Made in Germany” in the 1950s. Derived from the renowned luxury sedan, this outrageously expensive two-door car was offered in three body styles: coupe, convertible, and roadster. The roadster was the rarest version, making it a particularly sought-after collector’s item today.
The vehicle presented here was delivered on November 19, 1955, and registered in Zurich, Switzerland. It remained in Switzerland until 1985 before being moved to Dortmund, Germany. The car has been in Germany since 1985 and was acquired by its current owner in April 2016.
The 300 S Roadster impresses with an unusual color combination of white paint and a red leather interior, complemented by a reddish roof. Furthermore, the vehicle is in a historically and period-authentic condition.

Various appraisals have been available since 2016, giving the vehicle a grade of 2+. All service invoices and TÜV reports from 2016 onwards are also available.
